Eligibility Requirements

Candidate seeking admission to the Undergraduate (UG) courses should have completed;

• Minimum 5 (Five) passes at IGCSE / GCSE / GCE O Levels including English and minimum 2 / 3 (Two / Three) passes at GCE Advanced Level (A Levels)
• Should meet the subject-wise eligibility as laid down by the respective statutory bodies / councils / university
• Candidate intending to join the health-Related programs are required to have studied the subject of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Foreign Nationals to have Equivalency with Indian Boards, Candidates to obtain the Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi

B. NEPAL Nationals Seeking Admission should have Migration Certificate - School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XI & XII)

Upper secondary education is for students aged 15 to 18. At the end of upper secondary education, students take exams for a Migration Certificate - School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XI & XII). Students take the exams via the National Examinations Board (NEB).

• Duration: 2 years (grade XI-grade XII).
• Content: a new curriculum has been in place since the 2020-2021 school year. Not enough is known about it yet. In 2022, the first students will receive the diploma with the new curriculum. In the old curriculum, students took at least 5 exam subjects. The subject English (compulsory English) was compulsory; the subject Nepali (compulsory Nepali) was compulsory for either the 1st year (grade XI) or the 2nd year (grade XII). In addition, students took at least 3 exam subjects for 1 of the following streams:
  i. science: subjects like physics, chemistry, biology and computer science; ii. management: subjects like business studies, accountancy, marketing and hotel management; iii. education: subjects concerning pedagogy, education and teaching; iv. law: subjects concerning aspects of law; v. humanities: subjects like history, sociology, geography and languages. • Admission requirements: a Certificate - Secondary Education Examination, Grade-10 and extra requirements, such as certain subjects and grades.
• Function of the diploma: access to higher education. Students may also continue on to secondary vocational education.
• Diploma: Migration Certificate School Leaving Certificate Examination (Grade XI & XII), issued by the NEB. Please note: before 2017, the upper secondary education diploma was called: Migration Certificate - Higher Secondary Education Board Examinations.

C. Bangladesh Nationals should have Higher Secondary Education Certification from Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (https://dshe.gov.bd/) From following streams;

• Science Stream: This stream focuses on core science subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, preparing students for careers in engineering, medical sciences, and other science-related fields.
• Commerce Stream: Commerce students study subjects such as economics, business studies, and accounting, equipping them for careers in finance, business, and accounting-related professions.
• Humanities Stream: Humanities students engage with subjects like literature, history, geography, and social sciences, paving the way for careers in arts, humanities, and social sciences.

D. Candidates seeking admission to the Post Graduate (PG) courses should have completed; Bachelor Degree from a Recognised University by the relevant Country Government.

Medical Insurance

• Please Get Covered for Overseas Medical and Accidental Insurance for the duration of the course
• Please ensure that medical claims/ Facility is available in India under the policy.

How to Reach

• Chandigarh International Airport has flights from Sharjah and Dubai otherwise Nearest is Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) New Delhi. New Delhi is 250 Km from Chandigarh By Road Driving Time is 4 -5 Hrs Depending upon Traffic. We Provide Pick up from the IGI New Delhi Airport.
• Take a connecting Domestic Flight from IGI New Delhi to Domestic Airport at Chandigarh. Pick up is available from the IGI New Delhi / Chandigarh (Airport/ Bus Stand/Railway Station) to hostel.

Accommodation

• The institute has arrangements for Students to stay at Chandigarh and Derabassi.
• At the time of Admission kindly specify the hostel requirements. The institute will arrange accordingly for the same.
• The charges vary from 80$ to 200$ per month depending upon the facilities
• Each Room is having Bed, Cupboard, Table, Chair, Fan, Lighting, Air-Cooler and is attached with Bathrooms.
• On call doctor is provided (Charges can be extra)
• Students have to follow the Rules & Regulations of the accommodation.
• The students can also take their own Lease/Rented/Paying Guest arrangement
• For AC rooms cost of accommodation will be approx 25% extra
